Information or informations?
If you've ever said "thanks for the informations," you're not alone. I've even heard teachers say it (usually the not-so-great ones), which is exactly why this mistake sticks around.
Information is uncountable. No S. Ever. Same with advice, feedback, research, progress and knowledge.
Need a number? Use a counting word: a piece of information, two pieces of advice, a bit of feedback, a lot of progress, a body of knowledge, a grain of sand, a grain of rice, a loaf of bread, a cup of coffee.
There's a 4-sentence quiz at the end. Pause, spot the mistakes, then tell me in the comments how many you got right, and which one tricked you.
